Domaine Giraud Les Galimardes White Châteauneuf Du Pape 2023
Our estate originated with “Les Galimardes.” This neighborhood, located in the southern part of the appellation, has always been part of our family. We cultivate We grow century-old Grenache vines, Syrah, and several white grape varieties here. An authentic Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir, it is composed of large rounded pebbles on the surface which give off gentle heat in the evening, promoting grape.

Blend:
- Grenaches (25%), Clairette (25%), Bourboulenc (25%) et Roussanne (25%).
Soils:
- Rounded pebbles on the surface, clay deep down.
Aging:
- We age our whites for around 6 months in stainless steel vats and barrels.
Vinification:
- We harvest the grapes before dawn to take advantage of the cool nighttime temperatures. We carry out gentle pressing and cold settling, then the Roussannes are placed in barrels to begin fermentation (18-22°C). The rest is placed and aged in stainless steel vats.
