Les 5 C Chateau Candeley Bordeaux Rouge 2022
Les 5 C Château Candeley Bordeaux Rouge is an elegant Bordeaux Rouge A.O.C. from Entre-Deux-Mers, France, crafted from an unusual and balanced blend of five grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, each representing 20% of the blend. Produced from 35-year-old vines planted on clay-limestone soils, the wine comes from a 4-hectare vineyard managed traditionally and currently in conversion to organic farming. Careful parcel selection, controlled fermentation, micro-oxygenation, and lees aging contribute to its refined character. In the glass, it shows a deep color with ruby highlights, followed by aromas of red and black berries with floral notes. The palate is fine, elegant, and generous, with delicate fruit and a balanced structure. An excellent choice for tapas, charcuterie, grilled meats, and cheese. Aging potential: 5–10 years. It is recommended to open the bottle approximately one hour before serving.
